   make Christmas cookies — find a recipe that takes some time but not a lot of ingredients, like rolled cookies of some type, or wreath cookies (www.cooks.com for the recipe) or some fun thing like that

   if you have cardboard and felt and stuff like that, make a few pretty Christmas ornaments
