I have lots of empty pickle, hot sauce, mayo, etc jars.?

I use jars for storing paint, hardware and stuff, but I’m wanting a craft that i could use the jars for. I know I could search the net, but I wanted to hear of some crafts that you have made with empty jars.

thanks!

You can break those into pieces and glue all the particles on your pulse or dress or something. They’ll sparkle!

You can make piggy banks out of the jars. You can make them into pen holders. You can fill them with colored sands in layers to make a design.

    1. Paint them w/ acrylic paints with different designs (geometric patterns, flowers, etc.)

    2. Make them into animals (pigs, giraffes).

    3. Embellish the relief pattern on the jar or replicate a product label.

You can make gifts in a jar. These are things like cookie mixes, soup mixes, muffin mix ot hot chocolate. You can decorate the jar with a ribbon and spoon or something similar. These make really nice teacher gifts.

I do jar painting and hang them up during summer time which makes the colours look really nice. You can also place a candle inside. To make them hang attach wire and make a handle, then you can add some beads too. Also you can cut out some nice designes from napkins/tissues and stick them on the jar using crafting glue.

    use them to store ribbons
    use them for flower vases
glue trim/ribbon on them and sell them
    paint on them
to make topiaries (find a material to use as a base and glue/epoxy to jar bottom and go from there)
    make sand art/candles

I HATE throwing out empty jars- I use them for everything. Like others, I make homemade gifts with them by making hard candies to put in them. A cute spare button/sewing jar can be made by placing a pin cusion on top of the lid ( I usually make the pincusion myself, but you can just as easily glue on a store-bought one).

I paint them and turn it upside down as decoration for my home. I also put dried flowers inside and turn it upside down as a decor. There are many ways in using them as a craft. A see through vase for my water hanging plants too.

You can use them for snow globes, wire some together for a standing or hanging candle holder, or even paint them and glue a cool vintage thrift store plate to the top for a platter for parties.
