i have a question on selling homemade crafts…?
i made a lot of homemade crafts, i like to do that, but i make so much that i cannot sell them off individually, how do i sell things in bulk to places like grocery stores, or is there any other way to sell them in bulk?
if so what do i do?
i want to make money off of it, so giving them away/ throwing them away, is not a option.

Advertise on ebay. That way you can sell as many off as you like over whatever time period you feel is best!
One way is to show them is at local craft fairs and bazaars. Churches, schools, even our local band and orchestra organization has one. You can find out about them because they usually advertise in the local paper that they are taking booth reservations for a show. You may have seen signs in church yards advertising the shows. Representative for companies like Avon and Mary Kay, people who do crafts, artists, photographers, people who sell food like fudge and candy, there is even one here that sells home made doggie biscuits and has cute containers and stockings for the pooches. A local florist makes silk arrangements and sells them. All these people take advantage of the venue to sell their wares. The spiced nut guy cooks the nuts on premises, the smell hits you in the face from all over the mall. He is very popular.
Traditionally you rent a table from the organization for a modest price, and set up your wares. Any profit you make is yours to keep.
There are for profit professional craft shows too, they make the rounds at the mall and other venues.
There are consignment shops out there, they take what you want to sell, and make their money if they sell the item[s] for you. Check your community to see if someone has one.
and there is always the on line places to sell, the big nationally advertised ones, and there are craft people who display your items on line too.
You can talk to local stores, and see if you can cut a deal for them to sell your stuff. A local hardware stores sells hand made wooden toys for a man. I get that, hardware, wooden toys, can buy the equipment here to do that. It is to their benefit to do that.I know some of the stores let organizations put up a table and sell things, one just allowed a hot dog stand that was going to give the profits to a individual who was sick. I have otherwise never seen an individual selling things in stores for their own profit here.
Good luck, hope this gave you some ideas.
