I have a lot of black hair scrunchies. Does anyone have an idea of a craft project to do with them?

My husband brought a ton of black hair scrunchies home from work (his company makes them). They are brand new and I would love to think of something to do with them (other than wear them in my hair!). I have a 4 1/2 year old and it would be fun to think of something to do with her. I was thinking napkin rings or something like that. I would love any suggestions because I have a ton and I just know there is a great idea out there for them!

those are so 80s. they STILL make those? who do they sell them to?

make them into some cute children’s things. sew some dangling beads on it. sequins, maybe try and make some into a bracelet for your daughter.

If you know how to knit or crochet, you can easily make them into fancy scrunchies. You could also make them into decorative napkin rings, place mats, a belt, coasters or even artwork (by crocheting fancy borders then sewing them together). If you still have a ton, try freecycling them–I’m sure someone in your neighborhood could use a few!
