I found a few very beautiful leaves that I would like to maybe press between wax paper. ?

Do You have any craft ideas for pressing leaves…maybe to use as gifts?

    First, making sure you know how to press them:

    Place the leaves between two sheets of waxed paper, and run a hot iron over them. It’ll melt the wax against the leaves, preserving them. Then remove them from the paper.

    Secondly, you can use the leaves to decorate a scrapbook or collage, or stick them on a window. You could also place a bunch at the center of a table, below a small pumpkin or vase of orange/gold fall flowers, as a fall centerpiece. The leaves could also be used to accent a wrapped gift or gift bag. Or if you want to give the leaves alone as a gift, you could write a fall-related poem on a strip of paper, and attach it to the stem of the leaf.

    We use glycerin for our leaves. It’s inexpensive and easy to use. The leaves don’t lose their color and remain flexible.

    Do a search on “preserve leaves with glycerin”
