I am very deppressed that school is over – what should I do?
I need some VERY fun things to do during the summer. Besides going to the beach or reading or writing books or exercising or making crafts (those seem to be the number 1 suggestions for things to do) what should I do? If you are going to suggest one of the things i said not to suggest, then at least be more specific and not so general. I need some guidelines as to how to bide my time while i am very bored!

Travel around. Go on a vacation!!
You live by a beach?! LUCKY! You could get all your friends together for some ultimate frisbee games, you could take a summer class (if you’re in college, or around that age) You could volunteer at almost any sort of place, animal shelters, food banks, habitat for humanity etc. This way you relieve your boredom AND help out your community!
Well, if you are the educational type, then i would suggest going to a museum or the aquarium! Also if you look at your local colleges they could have good summer camps to enroll in.(I did that last summer)
See at least 1 movie with a friend at the theater per week.
Find a place that does hot air balloon rides.
Go to an amusement park (Cedar Point).
Minigolf.
Memorize digits of pi (don’t do that).
Paint a very large picture.
If all else fails:
Dig. No. Keep digging. Forever.
i was like you when i was a teenager now im 21 and matured alot. i always do something that will make myself better, whether it be make money, get healthy, get smarter, get ahead in school with summer school. but you sound like you want a job. a good job for someone like you is deliver newspapers. if your done with school keep going to school if you like it so much. but the best option is the military. they pay you like a job train you and educate you. plus when you get out if you still want to go to school it will be free basicly. and you get to travel and meet new people.
