How to make an X for a doll’s eyes.?
how do I make an X when sewing? I’m trying to make a voodoo doll looking thing cause I think they are cute.
Also how might i go about adding some yarn hair.

You could paint the eyes on with a tooth pick. If you wish to sew them, you will need floss and an embroidery needle. form a small knot and pop it through the cloth on the back of the head. then punch the needle through the back of the head and force it through to the front of the face and make your first /. cross under the fabric the desired distance and make the x. before you insert your needle and thread to finish the x tie a knot about an inch away from the needle. Pop the knot through and push the need out through the back of the head. There are many ways to attach hair. You can sew yarn to a strip of cloth and sew that on with thread to the head. Take a length of yarn and large eye needle.
Thread and knot one end.
Pull the needle up from the back until the knot is against the fabric and then back down at an angle and through the front of the fabric = .
Bring back up directly across from where the thread came through the back .
Take through to the right/top side of the fabric at an angle and back through fabric = / .
You know have one X.
Continue until you have as many XXXX as you wish.
Tie a knot on the back of the fabric when finished.
If the head has already been formed, use a curved needle. This will allow you to pierce the fabric and come back up without having access to the back of the fabric. You will have to pull the knot through to the inside and clip the yard close to the doll’s face.
