How do you make simple clothes for dolls?
I was just considering making some doll clothes, but my sewing machine is busted. Please help!

Small knitting needles or crochet hooks and some yarn would let you make simple clothes for dolls. Small stitches keep the garments from catching on the doll’s fingers when you are dressing them.
Hand sewing might work better for small doll clothes than a machine would, if you have experience in doing hand sewing. Draping strips of fabric and taking small stitches to “tack” them in place would let you make costumes – but that would work best for display dolls that aren’t going to have their clothes changed.
Make some first out of paper, if they look good then add seam allowances and stitch them up.
Walmart has simple doll clothes sewing patterns.
