    2 cups flour
    1 cup table salt
    1 cup water
mix flour and salt add about 1/2 the water and stir thoroughly.
Keep adding water a LITTLE at a time until it isn’t crumbly anymore, just dough like.( you don’t have to use all the water!)
kneed it with you hands for 10 mintues turning it over on itself on bread board.
Put in airtight container for at least 30 minutes to rest.
Pull off however much you want about fist size and roll out with rolling pin.Turn over so it doesn’t stick.

I also used a little cooking spray on cookie sheets so they don’t stick!!! otherwise kiss it all goodbye. You can’t pry it off with a crowbar.
Cook at 225 degrees for 3 hours.
Leave in oven until oven cools down.
You can paint these, varnish them, or just add food coloring to the water before you mix the dough.I did and it was cool.It takes a lot though to hold the right color.

    AROMA DOUGH—

In medium sized bowl mix together: 1c flour
    1/2 c salt
    2T cornstarch

In small saucepan boil 1 cup water. Add:1T vegetable oil
    6 drops food coloring
    2-3 drops aromatic oil

CONSTANTLY STIRRING add BOILING water mixture to dry ingrediants. Stir THOROUGHLY. Comment: Add boiling water directly from heat. Let the kids shape and mould ‘tll their heart’s content–bake in microwave 2 minutes. This is a great dough for the kids to play with.

    Self Hardening Clay

    4 cups flour
1 tsp alum (i found this at walmart with the seasonings)
    1 1/2 cups salt
    1 1/2 cups water

Mix dry ingredients, add water until forms a ball.
Knead the clay until it no longer falls apart.

Sculpt and let dry. You can paint this after 2 days of drying.

    And just for fun:

    Peanut Butter Clay

    1 cup peanut butter
    1 cup nonfat dry milk
    1 cup honey

Mix together until it feels smooth. Place in fridge 1 hour. Shape and add raisons, dry cereal, nuts, chocolate chips. Chill again. Eat!!
