how do you make candles from things i have at home?

i don’t want to go out and buy it… that takes the fun away. i don’t mind if its not scented i guess im just looking for a fun craft to do :) i can always get wax but i just am wondering i can make it from things i have at home… maybe? let me know!!! thanks

    You can put things like pieces of candy, buttons, squares of tissue paper, potpourri, etc, in the hot wax before it hardens into a candle. Just be aware that some of these things may be a fire hazard if you actually light the candle!!!

    Also, you can pour the candle wax into things like terra cotta pots, empty baby food jars, Mason jars, empty coffee tins, etc rather than buying expensive candle molds.

    All you need is the wax and a wick. No, you cannot make wax with things around the house! A wick should be cotton and braided for best results. And then you can pour the hot wax into any kind of mold or container you have that will work.
