How do you make a card without using the score it board?

How do you score a piece of paper without acually using the score it board? This is for crafts and making cards.

    I use a bone folder. It’s a small tool made to fit easily in your hand. You simply fold the card, and run the bone folder over the folded edge, to make a clean, crisp crease. Simple.

    If you’re only making a few cards you could substitute a clean popsicle stick. You have to be a little more careful, or it may snag your paper, but it will do the trick. You could also try using the ‘bowl’ of a spoon. Since it’s metal it will glide easier than wood, but it will not be as comfortable in your hand as a bone folder.
