    You don’t. Most of them want money up front to buy the supplies and then if what you assemble and send back to them meets their “standards” they pay you for the product…but you will never meet their standards.

    Anytime you have to pay for a job, run the other way. They should pay you. Google around for ways to start your own craft business.

    AtomiK Kitten is correct… the only LEGITIMATE such business I knew of was a model-ship building company that went out of business in 2004 after 30 years around. THEY had very high standards of assembly also.

    The amusing thing IS, to meet their standards you have to work SO hard and to such a level of perfection you realize YOUR time is worth MUCH more than they are paying you.

    If you like arts and crafts try to come up with something of your own to make. Its much more satisfying. I thought about assembly also, but came up with my own thing. I now sell on eBay and to people I meet.
