How do you clear out the tips of a Pro Craft Silent Setter?

My wife has this scrapbooking tool for punching holes and the tips are completely filled with bits of paper. Is there an easy way to get the tips cleared out?

    I use a pointy tipped needle and flick out the paper each time I use it to keep it clean. It saves any build up of paper and only takes a couple of seconds each time. Happy Punching…
