Use ‘alcohol wipes’ on them … that will clean ALL of the old ink off, and won’t get into the rubber to make it get ‘brittle’ … and welcome to card making … it’s a lot of fun once you get comfortable with it, and having good CLEAN stamps is a good way to begin.

It’s been a longggggg time since I’ve rubber stamped, but I believe ordinary rubbing alcohol cleaned the stamps well. I’m also pretty sure as well that these days you can buy rubber stamp cleaner the same place you purchase your stamps.

after you are done stamping then just quickly wash them off with some water and the ink will come right off. if you let the ink dry on them then you have to use some soap or a household cleaner to get it nice and clean.

There is a stamp cleaner available in the craft stores, but I’ve heard you can just use rubbing alcohol with cotton balls & swabs in the small spaces.

I use Baby Wet Wipes to clean my stamps, they are cheap to buy and do a great job

Don’t forget to look after the wooden blocks I give mine a coat of clear nail polish and use baby wipes to clean off the ink.
