How can I make a room or a doll house thing… out of a plain shoe box?
I have to make a nursery room for a baby out of a shoe box. I need some creative ways to do this. What else can I do?
I don’t know what kind of theme I should use for the room or what furniture to make besides a crib and a dresser or something…
any ideas?

i folded paper but you can use popcical sticks and cardboard with fabric and mabie even real carpet. BUT MAKE SURE TO USE HOT GLUE GUNS!!! i got scolded for using staples and had to pull all of them out.
Well you could always look at the several doll house printable sites. It was where I used to print out a lot of my old doll house stuff such as wallpapers, books, ect, ect.

It’s great if you don’t want to spend a lot of money and you need some “filler” to make your nursery room more decorated or realistic.
I have a dollhouse that I made years ago. It still is not finished. In the children’s room I have a bed, crib, dresser, changing table and toys.
I bought the furniture, however I made most of the accessories. I made a teddy bear out of felt, with beads for eyes and embroidered mouth and nose.
A beaded doll; out of pipe cleaners and beads. I made blocks out of small pieces of wood.
A ball out of a bead then painted lines on it.
A diaper bag out of a paper clip folded to represent a hanger and the material coming down with a flat surface and cardboard on the bottom. You can fold pieces of kleenex and place them in the bag to resemble diapers.
You can go on forever. Take a look at a miniature site and see what they have and use your imagination of how you can make it yourself out of things around the house. Once you get started you will have endless ideas.
Have fun and good luck!
