How can I build this doll house/play set?

….DON’T LAUGH AT ME!
When I was little I the three things I loved the most were doll house/play sets , Pokemon and Hamtaro. They made this little Hamtaro play set thingy so I was always content but I also wanted a Pokemon one , Like , a lot! Then I found this cute little game online and I thought “I MUST BUILD THIS!!!” It’s exactly what I wanted when I was little.
I want the water in the pool to be real , and I was thinking of leaving the back of the building open so you could get to the inside of the center that way and I want to include all the little features like chairs and stuff and the stairs should have steps so they are climbable. I want basically an exact replica and yes IT IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH!!!
I don’t want to make it out of wood or anything super expensive , but I don’t want to make it out of a box that collapse on me, And I want it to be colored to. As close to the game as possible. And once again , THIS IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH. I will be content with just having made it (I’m a craft person) but I have two little brothers and a cousin that are going to want to play with it. ( And if I say no, they will anyway when I’m not home)
And yeah. But I am totally stuck on how to do this any help is appreciated!

I suggest building it with foam core board (aka gator board) and cardboard. You can actually make it very sturdy and durable when you layer it 2-3x (i.e. sandwhich the cardboard between the foam core if you have little kids playing with it). Foam core is going to be white, so its can be easily painted.
The plus side is that you can cut it without power tools and its cheap and sturdy.
You will have to get wood base of some sort and cut a hole for the pool basin if you want to have real water, but that can be easily done. Some hardware stores will even cut it for you if you don’t have the tools to do so.
Good luck and have fun with it!
You might also want to check out some of the pages at my site for making the little “items” in your scene.
Dollhouse enthusiasts and those who make dioramas of all kinds may use many different materials for both the structures and the items, but polymer clay is a really good material (it can take a lot of detail, is strong and durable–don’t use Sculpey III though for most durability in thin parts, comes in colors or can be colored or painted after baking, can even be made to look like other things like wood, metal, etc, and more).
