Hot Glue Gun Question Help for Arcade Stick?

I was gonna use a hot gun on a pcb to glue in some wire to pcb to make it secure like some people, and being on a tight budget as i am, i wanna borrow a friends, and she uses it for fabric crafts, is there a difference? and the glue as well is it multi use or shud i buy a specific kind of glue for this project?

    Yes, Hot melt adhesive would be sufficient to hold wire secure on printed circuit board.
    Low temperature Hot Melt glue guns (like the one you want to borrow from your friend) shouldn’t be hot enough to damage the printed circuit board, as low temp. guns are generally intended for gluing more sensitive materials like cloth or lace.

    Most printed circuit boards are laminated with FR-4, made of woven fiberglass cloth with an epoxy resin binder that is flame resistant.

    Just be careful not to apply hot glue to any sensitive areas, like chips, resistors or transistors, as they likely will not share the same heat resistance as the PCB.
