Help with craft project, paint that will stick to plastic..?

We’re making a MLB toybox, and the base is a large red rubbermaid bin. I want to put “Angel’s Toys” on it, but can’t find blue letter stickers that will work. They need to be about 4 inches, so I figured maybe it would be easier to paint on, with stencils. Does anyone know what kind of paint would stay on this type of plastic, and not scratch every time my kid opens the box? Or where I could find large capital letter stickers? Or any other ideas?
