there’s lots of website if you have a look, if you have a printer you can find and print out worksheets, colouring pages, board games there’s things you can print out and stick to toilet roll tubes to make cool animal characters. Also great fun cooking and baking ideas like making cupcakes or crispy cakes. If you have any spare unwanted material you can make little purses or bags or even sock puppets, have fun :)

How about creating Artist Trading Cards? You might be able to get friends involved and set up trades with them. If not, it’s still fun to create these little cards! Determine a different theme for each week or month, and then create Artist Trading Cards based on that theme. For example, one theme could be “Fantasy” and you could draw anything that you can think up, like unrealistic creatures. Another theme could be “Things that make you feel good” and you could create cards that include whatever in life makes you feel wonderful, like sports, or cooking, etc. You could even create your own virtual world on Artist Trading Cards! By creating the themes, you are challenging yourself to think in creative ways. Artist Trading Cards don’t have to just be things you draw, either. You can paint or use other embellishments to create miniature works of art. The possibilities are endless! And because the trading cards are so small, they are easy to create and make a wonderful hobby.

Artist Trading Cards are fun for people of all ages. Here is an article that explains how to get started:

Another idea is to create Worry Dolls. Worry dolls are small colorful dolls that you put under your pillow at night to take your worries away. You could make a bunch of the dolls, then donate them to a local children’s hospital for the sick kids that are there. Here is an article that shows you how to make them:

Another activity is to make fabric bowls. The bowls are sturdy, colorful, and fun to make. You can use them to store things in or use them for serving snacks. Here is an article that shows you how to make them:

Creating collages is relaxing and allows you to express yourself. Create collages of things that you like or that you are thankful for. Here is an article to help get you started:

Spell your name with nature! Or create words, such as “Dream”, “Love”, etc. The finished project can be used as a decoration in your room, on a table, or left outside on a sidewalk for someone else to find. Write diamonte’s! A diamonte is a seven-line poem that gradually changes from one idea to a direct opposite and does not rhyme. When the poem is complete, it is in the shape of a diamond. (Diamont is French for Diamond). Here’s how to do this: http://www.escapadedirect.com/diamonte.html – this link includes a form you can print and use for writing your poems.

Use a large roll of drawing paper and let your imagination loose! Here are a bunch of ideas on what you can do: http://www.escapadedirect.com/loofpaandlii.html
