Hey i am a fifth grader and we did a really yummy craft that looked like sushi and we ate it here are the list of ingredients
melted rice Krispies with marshmellow
foot by the foot roll up.
gummy worms
when you finished with the rice Krispies
make a sushi roll out of the roll up and pull gummy worms and the rice in it
trust me it is so GOOD!
I don’t know if you have access to an oven, but, here is a snack that the kids will love, that they can help with.
“Banana Boats”
Take bananas and make a slice lengthwise making an opening in the center, and put chocolate, and marshmallows in them. Wrap the banana in foil, and bake them in the oven to melt the chocolate and marshmallows. Leave the bananas in the skins. The kids can eat the bananas with a spoon.
Funnel cakes, Pancakes, Decorating cupcakes, Making their own mini pizzas, Jello jigglers if you have the time for the jello to set.
Teaching them fire safety by having a:
Bucket of water- glass of juice
graham cracker-ground cloth
peanut butter spread on top of the cracker. Candy corn for the fire, pretzels broken for the wood and coconut for the tender.
You should get the idea of the fire safety. I hope.
We made a centipede once out of those pre packaged snow balls they sell in individual packages usually at a convenience store but you could make the-centipede out of any round cake type product, you could use black tiny licorice pieces for all those feet and candy pieces for the face. We built it on a long piece of wood covered in foil, it was adorable
Try peppermint mice (you could also make cardboard mouse-houses for them), sea urchin party nibbles (easy), vege creatures (a laugh), marshmallow snowmen (Kids love these), or snowflake cookies.
