good crafts that people love to buy…?

my friend and i want to go to a britney concert, but our parents wont let us unless we work for the money, to teach us the “value of the dollar” we cant ask anyone for money, and they gave us the following rules:
We must sell only hand made items, we cannot sell old things off ebay, and we must repay everything we borrow (i.e. if we were to have a bakesale and needed plastic plates that oru parents had, we’d have to repay them). they told us the best way is to sell crafts… my friend is an amazing photographer, and is printing out pictures that she’s taken on photopaper and selling them as cards… i need an idea that’s easy to make (no more than 8 hours max) and cheap, too. all help will be appriciated. thanks!

It all depends on your abilities. Perhaps these sites will help bring some things to mind:

    familyfun.go.com/arts-and
    -crafts/season/tool/craftfinder
    _tlp/

    Thanks for using Yahoo! Answers:)

how about if you charge people $20 plus cost of photo developing for you and your friend to take family pictures for people since you mentioned photography. you could set up a little area to look like professional pictures or go to a park and take them there or even borrow dress up clothes for the kids. i think people would go for that.

if you go to where you have pictures printed out they have a list of how much different sized prints cost and they can order what they want or you could just burn them a cd and they can print them on their own.

beaded silverware is easy just get cheap but strong silverware from the dollar store, beads from a craft store when you buy a bigger bag it seems more expensive but its not in the long run, and wire for stringing the beads onto the silverware. another thing you can make is crochet a scarf or something small and easy you just need to get the yarn and a needle and of course learn if you don’t already know :) . make jewelry. get beads, string and clasps. well i hope i helped and hope you get enough money to go to the concert

In addition to the other suggestions, you can make postcards with the photos, or us photos on gift bags for a more personal touch.

Good luck!! Let me know how it turns out.
