Girl Scout activity/craft suggestions?

My daisies are working on the Considerate and Caring petal. So far we have sent holiday cards to soliders stationed in Japan. I am looking for another activity and really can’t come up with anything. I have looked on multiple sites, but nothing has really stood out to me. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks =)

    im an ambassador now so maybe i could help out… well for considerate caring maybe you could focus on the environment…have your girls clean up an area of a park or something to show that they care for there environment and considerate of the environment for the citizens of your town

    Same idea, but send them to the Vets in the hospitals… thanking them for the time they gave to defend the freedom of your young minds…

    Pick an elderly neighbor and do some work on their yard.

    Have the girls shop for non-perishable food for a soup kitchen / shelter. Get a list of requested items, and have the girls predict what things will cost before they get to the store. Review the actual costs after they make their purchases.

    Good luck!

    Make tie together fleece blankets for a nursing home or hospital. You can find the details here…

    There is not any sewing involved and it is a very easy project that has a beautiful and warm result.
    This will give the girls a great sense of accomplishment as well.

    Make basic melt-and-pour soaps (and your daisies can have fun coloring and scenting it inexpensively) and donate it to homeless shelters. They always need soap, and MP soap is inexpensive (base is around $2 per pound with a basic color kit for a few dollars at any craft store). You can use Glad plastic containers as a mold and cut it with either a dull kitchen knife or a vegetable chopper.

    For daisies, the melting and pouring part will probably need to be done by you with their “help” as the soap is around 130 degrees.

    Also, collecting used clothing for homeless shelters would be very helpful. If you can teach them to sew small rips and tears, that would teach a useful skill as well.

    I hope the link I gave you helps you and your girl scouts
