Does anyone know of any good websites for buying craft materials like beads and phone cords etc UK only plz.?
My daughter is making craft items to sell at her school fayre and she wants ‘cheap and cheerful’. She has great skill and superb ideas but money is a bit of a problem. Thanks for any help or ideas. We are in Lincoln UK. Web sites or shops please.

I would go to the second hand shops such as the Sally Army or any others of that type. They have just about everything you can think of and with a little bit of imagination you can pick up all sorts of cheap stuff for crafts. You could also put an ad in a local paper asking for what you need. You’d probably be surprised at the number of people keeping such things as phone cords in their junk drawers, like me).
There some good websites in the UK such as papertole.co.uk, docrafts.co.uk and liz crafts. there are a lot more and can be found by searching in google.
There is a bead shop in Devon and on-line called The Bead Cellar. They stock loads of things for making cell phone charms and also bookmarks with holes to hang the charms on too.
Good service from them too.
