Does anyone have any good ideas for recycling glass peanutt butter jars?

I go through a lot of peanut butter jars. I hate throwing them out. Does anyone have any crafts or other uses I could put them to? Looking for something besides candle making.

:-) Store pennies in them. . . of course, this will encourage hoarding pennies. So maybe not. Buttons?

I use my glass jars for storage.

I use them for alot of my crafting…Extra pieces of ribbon, buttons, sewing kits, markers, crayons, glue sticks, tacks, staples, mini bows, mini pom poms, stickers, twist tights, color sand, glitter sticks, nails, tacks.

kitchen I keep spices in them..Sugar, brown sugar, salt, pepper.

I love everything in clear glass containers with labels on them. I have to see at a quick glance.

Also try for the holidays…Quick Presents by making Cookies in a jar. You just get your dry mix portion of the receipe and add those..attach a receipe card with a rubber band to the jar and then cover the lid in a christmas fabric. All they have to do when they bake is dump the dry mix you gave them in a bowl and they add any wet ingredients.

    Hope this helps!

you can store all kinds of things in them. You can make different thing with them. Over the summer, we went to cape cod and found different beach treasures, then when we got home we used the glass jars and our finds to make water globes.
