Animals you could get some type of petting zoo, circus you could invite some jugglers and balloon makers and face paint artists, maybe rent one of those jump-y things. For water day, a slip and slide and maybe a water jump-y? Cowboy Indian Day could break off into teams: Cowboys vs. Indians. They could go on a scavenger hunt for a treasure against each other. And Space day, a trampoline explaining zero gravity plus making space alien masks out of paper plates and paint. Hope these help!

Hi there, well first of all congratulations on being willing to look after little kids for 5 days! On the Indian day for example you could cut out about a 40-50 cm piece of cardboard(depends on how big the head is, paper needs to be longer if you have a big head) and then staple it so it will slide easily over the head and fit like a crown, then add feathers, jewels, beads. Kids will get really into it.On the space day, you can do paper mache, and make the planets, split the kids up into groups, each group has a planet. On the circus day, you could make stilts out of tins and string, you empty the can and punch 2 wholes in the top and then lace the string through both sides, if that makes sense! And then they could decorate them with funky paint and stickers! You could also do face painting on the circus day as well! Goodluck i hope this helped!

manday: I’m 13, and one of my favorite hobbies is to grab a bunch of boxes from the recycling bin and tape and glue them into a shape. It’s eeasy to make horses, pigs, cats/dogs, but would be harder to make things like birds and fish.

Tuesday: make t-shirts for the circus. People looove tie-dye (3 methods: take things like bottles and rocks and put them on the shirt, and put rubber bands around them. Dye with one color. Take all the stuff off and re-tie in different places, then use another color. repeat as much as you like. Also twist thing into random lumps and tangles and rubber band, squirt wiith the paints. Then there’s the classic whirl: put the white t-shirt on a table, take a clothespin and clip it to the very center. Twist it into a big bun (like for hair) and rubber band so that it’s divided into triangular sections like a pizza or pie. Squirt each section with a different color)
Or design a big tent, have one group of kids make the elephants out of something like clay, another make the crowds, another make the trained ponies, etc. till you have a circus. take pics and give to all the kids there, and let each kid take their own piece and trade for what they like.

wednesday: SEASCAPE!!!!!!!!!! need I say more? use clay or something. Also try using water: watercolors, splattering and eroding clay with a hose or something, buried treasures, etc.

thurs: painting? Make a spoof on an old western and give kids a copy of the DVD and help make costumes?

Friday: Spacescape? Painting? Make a reflecting pool (totally stole this idea from someone else) like, make a big birdbath-sized bowl and paint the bottom black. It’ll be a reflecting pool for the night sky, and try adding silver beads or sparkles or something for stars. Also you could do something to do with van Gough’s night sky (was it Van Gough?) or make something 3-d with mirrors.
Also make a visor and poke hole in certain patterns. paint if black, and stand in the sun. It’ll look like you’re at night staring at the sky.

hope this helps, I’m no pro.
dunno about names, something like “exploring art” or “kids create” or something? Maybe an anagram or illiteration: “ARTS: Amazing R____ T____ S____”

One easy and beautiful t-shirt uses colored sharpies – fat is better and regular rubbing alcohol from the the dollar store.
    - Package of colored sharpies, fat is good, click able rather the ones with separate caps
    - dollar tree spray bottles plant mister size
    - dollar tree alcohol – rubbing
    - cardboard – I get them from the supermarket
    - animal shapes
    - masking tape and/or spray adhesive

    1. insert cardboard into t-shirt to protect the back of the shirt from the design on the front
    2. tape a design on the front of the t-shirt. You are using a shadow print method for your design. If you have wide masking tape you can make simple shapes like circles or triangles for the head and rectangles and ovals for the bodies
    3. Outline your shape on the t-shirt
    4. give the kids the sharpies and let them color the parts of the t-shirt where the tape does not cover it. dots and lines like rays work the best. Have them do patterns of colors next to each other like red dot blue dot yellow dot
    5. the more color the better
    6. write the kid’s name on the shirt at the bottom
    7. Take the shirts outside and spray the sharpie marks with the alcohol until the desired spreading occurs. Play with this before hand
    8. avoid spraying the child’s name
    9. remove the tape about 10 minutes after you have finished spraying. The tape will be wet and easy to remove

I have linked some other ways to use sharpies for tie-dye below. You do not have to only have animal shapes. We used crosses for the vacation bible school
let the shirts dry in the sun
