I would go with a small project. Have them bring some pictures of themselves, friends, pets, or whatever they love. Below are a few projects to give you ideas. You don’t have to use their products, improvise with what you have on hand. Making mini albums or cards to give their friends should should interest them. Just plan your pages before hand and don’t do more than 4 or 5. Showing them your examples, with their own pictures in play, they will have fun.

I think Dana as a great idea! also very easy for you and the girls. It’s also something they will like. any of the 3 projects would be fun… Have fun and let us know what you did.

It’s fairly easy to make a small paper bag album and it isn’t too costly either:

Or you could make one with only a few pages from a chipboard album blank:

Another idea is to start with a sketch and have an example page of how you used the sketch yourself. Here is a place I get a lot of page sketches from:

Perhaps give each of the girls a kit of papers, cardstock, ribbon, maybe buttons or punched shapes or paper flowers and show them how to follow a sketch. You can even cut out a piece of plain paper to represent photos and let them find a photo they want to add to their competed layout later.

The main thing is to have some fun and allow people to ‘bend’ the sketch requirements a little if they want to, to let them express themselves :) They may find they can think up their own sketches after a couple of sessions like this.

I hope it all turns out well for you!
