scrap booking could be good. It might cost a little more than you had planned. You could get a camera and take their pictures and then make a poster or bulletin board. Most older folks like to dance also.
I had my Aunt in a home. She did a lot of stencilling. They stencilled bags and sweaters and even made pictures and framed them. They sold them at a fair too. They did things with beads like candy canes and stuff like that. They also painted wooden ornament type things. But they have all kinds of shaped stuff. Butterflies and that. Maybe you can make some kind of holders to put their glasses in at night. Whether it be a velcro closure little purse type or maybe a wooden thing kind of that looks like a napkin holder but it would be felt lined. They could decorate the front of it. How about having them put small puzzles together and then frame them for around the halls or for their rooms. How about rubber stamping and then they can color them in with colored pencils. Maybe to make stationary or just note pads of some sort. If you go online and put in crafts for kids, you will get a lot of ideas that way too. Things that kids can do then the older people can usually handle it. Maybe decorative tissue holders of all sizes or even small quilts for use with the wheelchairs. I give up. Good luck. And good for you for helping the elderly. You must be really nice girls.
I did ladies groups, I used alot of basic kids crafts. Quick and easy, Some can’t follow alot of instructions. But bring extra items
for the more crafty people. Just have fun.

try6 finding some puzzles that aren’t to hard. I have an elderly friend at church and she LOVES to put puzzles togehter. I didn’t think about this or know that she loved this until I went to visit her for our out reach program for WMU. I beleive the ladies and gentleman will let you know what they like if you just ask.
God Bless
