depending on the grade, you can choose from simple to tougher from among all or any of the below :
    - origami
    - cut & paste [out of magazines or color paper to create pictures/collages/simple landscapes]
    - glue the origami project on paper & create a background with crayons/water colors…
    - make paper beads & string into chains — roll strips of papers around a thin pencil/match stick, glue & bead is ready. girls will love this; can be done with old glossy magazine paper or any color/crepe paper too.
    - make simple artificial flowers out of paper. draw & cut out petals & other parts & glue around wire/sticks & make a bouquet.
    - ask each girl to bring in some big shell or pebble. paint on them
    - modeling/sculpting with play doh
    - papier mache bowls [or any other simple article]. blow a balloon & over half of it with 3 layers of paper strips using diluted PVA glue & brush. when completely dry, burst the balloon & bowl is ready. paint or draw on it or adorn with sequins, etc.
    - collect different kinds of leaves [let each girl bring their own]. apply paint & use for printing on paper to create different designs. can also convert it into a greeting card.
    - jewelery out of actual beads

hope these get you started & help generate more ideas
all the very best & have fun

For 1st and 2nd graders- you could try the stainned glass w/ paints; take a picture of them and get big beads with big holes and make necklaces (put the picture on in the middle); help them make a huge pinata as a big class project; pick-up some leaves, fake feathers, have them make pilgrim hats, place it on a huge solid construction paper- get it laminated and that can make placemats for Thanksgiving.

3rd and 4th graders- get some plain shirts or “purses” had have them personalize it; have them create picture frames w/ different kind of material; maybe make bookmarks and/or door hangers; help them make their own story book; create their own rag doll out of raggy shirts, cotton, string, buttons, yarn, markers; school pride banners
