Cross stitch that was computer generated?
I want to get some cross stitch crafts and the nicest ones I can find on ebay are all computer generated patterns. I’d like to know if the finished product on those comes out nicely because I know they won’t look like the advertised picture which isn’t even in cross stitch form. Hoping someone who has had personal experience with this can answer my question please! Thank you.
Just to be clear, my question is – How does the finished product look? (After you cross-stitch the pattern.)

These come out as clear as your printer will allow. The simple ones are typically color coded – the more complex ones include color and symbols. The pros of them is that you can blow up to see any part of the design that you like – reprint sections as often as you want. The cons for me are that there are not the level of complexity that I like I like highly detailed charts personally – but it is nice to be able to see them on the laptop screen while working and by importing them into a paint type program – I can mark off what I have done electronically.

It really depends on who has done it. Unfortunately a lot of people just run an image though a conversion programme and think that’s it. Really it take a lot of pre and post conversion editing to produce a good chart.
