Creative/crafty websites?

So, I love knitting, crocheting and painting, and just making stuff in general. But lately I’ve been feeling a little uninspired :(

Anyone know of any blogs/websites that have some easy and cute craft ideas?

Thanks!

Maybe you might like to try to make a quick and easy mini-book. Just recycle a cereal box for covers (cover with paper or paint it) and use some computer paper for the pages (cut or fold) to start off.

Have you heard of knooking? It knitting with a crochet hook. There is a group on yahoo and ravelry. Or google “knooking” and some results will come up. It always fun to learn a new way of doing things.

The best website out there is Ravelry. (ravelry.com)

Knitting Patterns Central also has an amazing list of free patterns.

Definitely check out Craftster.org… you’ll probably never be uninspired again :-) .
They have all kinds of lessons, photos, discussions, etc., on all kinds of topics (including the ones you mentioned, but also many more) in their many forums.

To just get a sampling of some of the things that are made in each of the boards (in alphabetical order), check out this page:

Then to see a listing of the major boards at Craftster, look here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php …look down on the right
….be sure and click on each board you might *possibly* be interested in though because each board has many sub-boards under it

(If you also join–free–you can ask questions and reply instead of just reading.)

I just started getting into crocheting. I can’t believe the level of a patience my Mom has, but slowly but surely I am progressing. I love other hands on crafts and other DIY projects and I don’t know if you have ever worked with sea shells before but there are a ton of great things you can make with them are simply add to existing items. Whether you have a collection of your own, there are great fun craft ideas on this blog, http://blog.qualityshells.com/ I’ve made a few sand dollar ornaments for a Christmas party that I hosted this past December and am actually working on a few sand dollar wedding favors for a friend of mine’s upcoming wedding. Maybe you can start working with shells, it’s so much fun! :)
