Crafty Gift Ideas For a Teen??
I want to make my friend a gift for her sixteenth b-day. I’m going to get her something else i bought as well, but i thought making something would be more personal. She’s not very girly or anything (so no jewelry) and I’d rather not resort to painting a box unless i have no other options. Something funky and teen-friendly, and not intensely hard to make. I dont mind buying supplies (but i already have a lot of craft stuff). Any ideas???

Take a thick picture frame and around the edge put snipets of pictures you have of times you have had together…kinda like a collage around the outside and you can tell her to put a pic of you to at her party in the middle!!!

This isnt exactly makin anything but if she likes movies and popcorn you could get a bowl and decorate it and personalize it and stuff, put some popcorn, and movie, and maybe someclassic cokes in it and somehow put a bow on it?
I don’t know, but once for my friend’s 16th birthday I got her tampons and a couple of pads as a prank birthday present.
I know that you would think that that would be really special for her, but I suggest you not put all your hard work into making a gift. She won’t appreciate it. Getting her something that is for teens would be a lot better of an idea, but Im just saying, Im a teenager and I don’t think she will like it.
well first of all happy sweet sixteen to your friend and thats very sentamental of you to make something!! =) what about one of those picture boards..you know the kinds that have the ribbon that you just slid photographs through…you could have a day out with all of your other friends then make one of those and fill it with all of those pic…or u could just use ones that you already have??
why dont you make her a mini scrapbook of your times together. or just a giant card or something. or something really cute my friend did for my 15th was buy a giant green teddy bear, and dressed it up with a pair of sunglasses for me, pajamas, a thong (lol) and a hat. it was so cute. i love it. everyone did! lol . good luck.just be creative. im sure shell love whatever it is.
My friend made me a picture frame that was made of what look like plaster and broken plates and fish tank pebbles. Its so cool and you can do so much with it. Go out to the dollar store or a walmart or target and buy a cheap plate with cool colors that match her personality or her room or what not and add little charms or rocks or ribbons. Its cheap, durable, and ubber cute.
Well, two of my friends have made me memory boards, and i LOVE them! I still use them to decorate my dorm! I’ve made one, and I love it! They’re easy to make and can be personilized to perfection! Supplies:
* you will need a cork bored (cut to desired size)
*your choice of fabric
*some ribon
*hot glue gun
Instructions:
1. cut your cork bored to desired size.
2. cut fabric to fit bored. (keep in mind you want the fabric slightly larger than the bored)
3. glue fabric on bored. (glue the overlapping fabric to the back of the bored and allow to dry)
3. glue ribon to front of the bored. (a diamond pattern is most common, because it allows for the pictures to slid into spaces)
4. add flair according to yours or your friends taste!!!!

A great idea is to make her a gift basket. If you don’t have too much time (or tons of creativity! it’s okay!), you can buy a pre-made gift basket.
