craft projects using clothes buttons?

I am intrigued about using a collection of clothes buttons for craft projects and would like some ideas about ways to use them creatively. I am very open minded so please share experience or ideas, thanks!

You could sew them to a purse and make designes, or sew them to pilllows, or make a quilt incorperating buttons into the patters (like for eyes, trees, flowers, ect)

You could make a bracelet with them. All you need is buttons (of course) and some thread.

Here’s a very similar question asked a while back & the answers are pretty illuminating ! Check them out; I’m sure you’ll find something interesting :-)

Besides, you can also create a board game or any other play-game for kids.
You could make a sampler quilt sew/attach these buttons to a wall quilt or even a wall hanging.
You could also string them together [various lengths] & make those bead curtains for one of your doorways. It would be quite the talking point for guests !
How about gluing or sewing them to fabric, very close to each other, to make coasters, & hot pads?
Use to decorate gifts, greeting cards, tags, bookmarks, cabinet doors, book covers, desktop computer, lamps, ….
You can also use appropriate paints to change the color of the buttons or to paint beautiful designs on them. Or spread glue & shower glitter, etc.

    Have fun :-)
