Craft ideas using candy conversation hearts?

I bought a little box of red, white, and blue conversation hearts..like the valentines hearts with messages. They are special 4th of July military hearts. i think the money went towards troops or something.

I want to use a few that say “miss you” and “come home” to make my boyfriend a little card or some kind of craft to mail along with his birthday gift…he has moved for work.

Any ideas? besides just gluing them on paper?

You might want to glue them to cardboard, it is stronger. Or use foam for the backing. Maybe cut little hearts out of one piece of foam, put it on another, and glue the candies into the hearts in the foam?

You can use them to surround a frame and put a picture of the two of you inside it.

Be sure to use a padded envelope to mail the card or picture frame to protect it.
