Craft ideas for room?
I’m very artsy but I’m having trouble trying to come up with ideas for decorations in my room. I’m getting someone to write Ciarán’s Room (my name) in graffiti and then I’m going to have pictures I drew over the years around it. I’m also going to make a family photo out of tiny pieces of coloured glass.
Can anyone help me with some more ideas of things that I can put up on my wall and things I can have around my room, obviously things I can make myself?

I love crafts too! You should buy some neat japanese paper lanterns, then spray paint them any colour you want! You could also make a mobile of some things you really enjoy or treasure.
How about some bunting made from fabric scraps or even made from wallpaper. I did this for my sons room. I bought 6 odd rolls of wallpaper in interesting, co-ordinating designs, made a triangular template from cardboard and then got cutting and pasting.
Time consuming and a bit Blue Peter-ish but the end result was actually very effective.
It sounds like you are actually on a pretty good roll already but, I would suggest putting something on your walls that has to do with you favorite past times or what some of your interests are. Like if your into skate boarding, or if music is your thing, then incorporate those elements onto your walls as well.
You actually can do lots with wall space, just think of what you would want to look at to put you into a certain mood as you prepare to sleep at night, or what you would want to see when you are just chilln in your room.

Just a suggestion:
Make each section of your room devoted to diff things
ex. Art corner, family photos, sleeping area, homework/computer
I think it would be cool if you made a side of your wall look like a part of an art gallery with all your art works! Or have like a timeline of your drawings and it will be cool for people to see how you improved!
Another idea is to have a THEMED room. It makes the room look as ONE and not all scattered like. For example, you could do the whole theme of your room as graffiti since you already want a wall liek that. Paint one wall as the MAIN focal point and do the others with simple designs so you can still hang things off of them. If you have a desk in your room you can re-do it or pick up an old one from a second hand store and make it all graffiti like or litterly draw on it or just make cool little dotles or pictures.
….you can make a calander with your OWN picks (or find some off of the internet)
…paint your door on the side facing the inside of your room
…get some sort of storage box for your supplies and paint or decoupage it
…if you really feel like doing something that will take up your time, you could get new flooring (like tiles) and paint or draw oon each one so your whole floor makes a pic (or do the same with your ceiling)

i have one for you
use a canvas or w.e. media u feel like using & photo copy some of ur fave pics. take some tissue paper & little things & letters from magazines that go with you pictures. the thing is you’re not allowed to use scissors to cut the paper or pictures so it looks really random. put pictures under the tissue paper & make things overlap. dont leave any white spaces. maybe add ur name in the middle bolded.
this may or may not have helped but u just have to be creative with it.
