i’m gathering old CD’s to make crafts….. but i want the CD’s to be plain… and alike… so i have to remove the paint/label/colors/designs on top of the CD’s…. the one opposite the shiny side… hehehe…:-D ?

I’m not sure how you can remove the design side without having to scrape it off with something sharp (this might scratch through to the other side and destroy the CD). Why not try to glue two CDs together (design sides facing each other), then you get the shiny side on both sides!
Good Luck!
Here’s some craft ideas from recycled CDs:

if u go to a big lots store or some discount type store u can get them pretty cheap. definitely easier than scraping them off. another option is to take blank cd stickers and put them on top of the designs already on there. if u go to michaels arts n crafts look in the wedding section and they have some type of kit for that, also check the martha stewart stuffthey just got there cuz i think they have it too
If you don’t care if they will actually play, a great way to remove labels is with Dif. Its a product you pick up in your local Home Depot or Loews (or whatever hardware store you have near you) It is actually used to remove wallpaper, but works like a dream! I highly reccomend the gel formula. Its cheap too, like 3 bucks for a big spray bottle.
