Can you print out your own picture or sayings like vellum stickers for scrapbooking?

I was wondering if there is any paper that you can put in your inkjet printer and then transfer the sayings or pictures to your scrapbook paper. If so, what is the name of the particular paper and do you need any other supplies? Thanks

You can print directly on vellum. With an ink-jet printer, you will need to let it dry for a while.

Other papers you could print on include 8 1/2 X 11 scrapbook paper (the printed sheets from the craft store). Be sure to get one with a faint design or your quotes won’t show up.

Many companies now sell products for printing. These include from full sticker paper (cut them out when you’re done printing), window clings, waterslide decals (not for a scrapbook, but you can still put them on a mug, glass, or other nonporous surface), magnetic sheets, and fabric transfer paper.

Many of these papers are available at your office supply store. Look at Office Depot or Staples. If you don’t live near one, they also have on-line stores. Some are available at craft stores (especially those that focus directly on scrapbooks).

Printing on special papers allows you to expand your creativity. Think outside the box and imagine what you can create!

After printing your saying or picture on cardstock, vellum, etc., you can cut it out, run it through a Xyron and becomes a sticker!!
This is the quickest and easiest way I have found to solve this problem.

Fill up a sheet of copy paper with as many sayings ( leaving a border all the way around ) that you can fit. Make a copy of this on a sheet of vellum paper. Now apply this paper to a sheet of archival adhesive paper which you can get in a craft store. As another answerer mentioned, a Xyron machine is wonderful for this. Run the whole sheet through. Once the adhesive is applied, you can cut out the saying you want to use. You simply peel off the paper backing. This machine might seem expensive in the beginning but if you do a lot of scrap booking, it’s worth the investment. Look for it to go on sale at Michale’s or A.C.Moores or use their 40% off coupon. You can apply the adhesive to anything you want, from ribbons to photographs.

Hi, you can use transparancies (available at any newsagency, you purchase them by the sheet), and use them like rub ons.

You have to print them as a mirror image, so when you apply the print side down on yoru page, and use a paddle pop stick to rub the image onto your page, it comes out the right way.

    Hope that helps!

    Jaimie.
