Can patio paint be used on foam?

Can patio paint like the one listed on this website be used to paint foam? I’m doing a crafts projects with some younger girls, we’re decorating flip flops. I want to buy paint for them to be able to paint the flip flops and I realized that I’d also need to buy a sealer. I saw that the patio paint doesn’t need a sealer, but I’m not sure if it’ll ruin the flip flops.

Does anyone know?

  1. Precious Gem says:

It shouldn’t ruin the foam. It is
acrylic paint so it should be okay.

  2. Soapflake says:

It should work, but it may not have the flexibility needed to last for a long time on foam flip flops. It will be durable as far as getting them wet or washing them off with a rag.

Try fabric paint. It’s acrylic and meant to stay flixible.
