Can anyone tell me how to make a paper doll chain?
Remember making paper chains of various shapes? Hearts, stars, little people joined by the hands? I used to make them all the time, but that was about 730 years ago when I was much younger and I simply can’t remember. Now I just end up with little lonely individual paper people w/no one to hold hands with. Please help?
**Didn’t know I’m so old, huh? ***smile***

Hey, Sunnie – here’s what you need to do. When you fold your paper, along strip (longer the better) make sure you accordion fold it. You know, back & forth, back & forth. Try to keep your folds as even & crisp as possible, and try to make the fold size about the same on each back & forth fold. Then when you draw the outline of the paperdoll, make sure the hands are outstretched & they end @ the folds on EACH side. Cut carefully around the outline or figure you have drawn, but DON’T cut the fold where the hands end. Depending on how thick the paper is, and how many folds you made, it may take a while to cut – be careful. Once you are done cutting, unfold & there you have it – a whole line of paperdolls, all holding hands!
