Can anyone help me plan an awesome party week for a bunch of kids under ten????
I am going to a 4th of July camping trip next week, and I am in charge of kepeing the little kids busy with crafts, and games and all that junk. They are all under ten years old. We are having a different theme every night. Here are the themes, and my ideas:
Mama Mia Night (Italian)- Playdough Pizza’s and ?
Fiesta Night (M) (Mexican)- Piniata Making and ?
Hawaiian Night (H) (Hawaii)- Lei’s and Foam Visors, and Sunglasses
Yee Haw Night (country)- ? and ?
Carnival Night (fair games)- bean toss, face paint, puppet show, basketball shoot,
Soaked (water night)- Water Baloon Toss, Squirt Gun Fun, Sponge and Noodle,
Now I really need your help by filling in the blanks with activities that go along with the theme, and are inexpensive. We are staying at a lakeside campground, and dont have that much space…
I also need you guys to post a link of a great website that has an English- ____ Name Generator, where you can type in an english name, and the will give you a H, I, or M name

Mama Mia Night: best fake mustache comp
Fiesta night: get some fake/cheap sombreros and either do the mexican hat dance or decorate them
Ye Haw Night: hmmm, no idea. You could change this one to like, spooky night or something and make up spooky (strictly PG level) stories and dress up like witches and vampires
Woah you sure set up a list for us answers but yahoo answers has helped me out so many times i must return the favor!!
If you want you can give me your @-mail so I can help you out even more but let’s see………….
Well your themes are awesome, should keep the kids pretty busy if you have good activities.
Italian night: the making of playdough pizza is very fun, you could also eat real pizza that day, and paint their faces with like mustaches and they could also make those tall cooking hats and try to make a song about mama mia or something.
Fiesta night: the piniata making here is great too, you could also eat mexican food that day nothing to spicy or anything for the kids like maybe taco’s or nacho’s all with mild ingredients, and you could get like some people to come play some mexican songs or something.
Hawaiian night: great 1st idea again with the glasses, here you could let the kids make like there own hawain skirts and stuff out of pieces of cloth or just paper strips you staple together, and you could make teams and let them try to form a dance they have to preform, and you could paint coconut’s and such.
Yee Haw night: here you could let them dress like cowboys, with tha hats, vest and stuff, you could get some strong parents to let the children ride on their backs like horse, you could have a nice BBQ that day and also make some cool cowboy games, like who can make the best horse sound
Carnival night: your ideas pretty much it, lot’s of simple but fun games and some prizes maybe for the winners, you could have just some normal foods that day, also maybe let them make signs for the carnival
Glad you saved the best for last: Soaked waternight the games you wrote are good you could also do in the water games, like swim-races, you could get one of those slip & slides, they could make foam or at material fishes and you could eat like fish sticks and other sea-foods but be carefull because kids at that age don’t really like sea-food! except for a good couple of fish sticks with fries!
Well hoped I helped!!
http://www.blazonry.com/name_generator/usname.php this will only help if you wanted to make a name of a person, but if the generator is like for a good camp name there’s no such generator alltoguh you could name it like crazy theme camp!
Here’s one idea that will keep the kids busy for at least 30 minutes.
It’s called the Bomb Game. The set up is easy. Prepare some cards with numbers. The size doesn’t matter but at least 2 inches square works well. Each card has a number ranging from -6 up to +6. Make sure to have a couple of zeros and a few cards with “BOMB” in the pack as well. Plastic coating also keeps the cards useful for a long time.
Next, prepare a long list of trivia style questions suitable for the kids’ ages. A healthy mix of school subject questions like math, spelling, science, and the like, works well.
Divide the group into 2 or 3 teams. One person from each team answers a question. If correct, they draw one card from the pack of bomb cards. The number on that card becomes the team’s score. Sometimes it is negative, zero or positive. A BOMB card changes the team’s score to zero.
Make sure the winning team gets a prize.
Very competitive and good learning fun for the kids.
Cheers,

I read this question and said wow that is a lot of work, but how do you keep kids busy with games day after day.
Here is the question:
I am going to a 4th of July camping trip next week, and I am in charge of keeping the little kids busy with crafts and games? We have a theme each night but what can games can I play?
Mama Mia Night (Italian)- Games?
Fiesta Night (M) (Mexican)- Games?
Hawaiian Night (H) (Hawaii)- Games
Yee Haw Night (Country)- Games?
Carnival Night (fair games)- Games Ideas I have bean toss, face paint, puppet show, basketball shoot. Others?
Looking at your game situation lets look at it night by night and lets see if you have both indoor and outdoor activities.
One have indoor and outdoor activities, you never know what the whether would be so maybe consider some printable games and activities. Here you find a variety of challenges you can use on your trip and for birthday parties later in the year.
Lets look at this night by night.
The games I reference can be found here:

almost all or do it yourself games with low or minimal cost.
Mama Mia Night:
Ok – Italian, cooking, kitchen prep
How about Egg and Spoon Relay race. Tie in theme of cooking. Maybe fill the pot a game where the kids have to fill a plastic cup of water and then place on a saucer or plate and run to a pot to fill with water. This would be a relay type race and first team to fill the pot to make pasta wins.
Fiesta Night:
Take the Clean Your Room game and Rename – Mexican Jumping Beans and tell them the goal is to get the jumping beans all on one side. (use brown socks) You could use this on country night and call it the Cow Pies Game too.
If you have a sombrero – Maybe sombrero toss (who can toss the farthest, who can toss it on an object)
Hawaiian Night – Limbo, Rename Grab the Most Balloons Game and rename Grab the Most Coconuts. After the game, be sure to you let the air out of the balloons and throw in the trash, so no animals are harmed
Yee Haw – Challenge them with the Alphabet List Game but be sure to use animals. Printable game What’s o Old McDonald’s Farm. How about a lasso game, learn how to make a lasso and then see if you can set a target and they can try to lasso something.
Carnival Night, you already have some good ideas a few others. Ring toss – Set Up soda’s or water and have them toss rings at them. Score points or put size prizes on each item.
Same idea but instead of tossing on a bottle toss coins or ping pong balls in plastic cups.
