Are you sure it was plastic canvas clothing, and that it was for a Barbie sized doll? It just seems that the clothing would be too stiff to be at all useful! I’m looking through WorldCat library database and haven’t found anything so far, but if you think of anything else, let me know.

When and where did you see the book? Was it a full sized book or a pamphlet type thing? Could it have been needlepoint, cross stitch, crochet…?

EDIT: Could it be this? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/096380314X/24680e-20

Yes, there are patterns for Barbie doll clothes in plastic canvas. A friend lent me some patterns several years ago….one was for a vest for Ken and the other was a wedding dress in plastic canvas. I tried the vest and did not like it….too stiff! I have not found any free pc patterns online for fashion doll clothing and I can’t remember the name of the company that had the pc patterns I borrowed. I will call my friend later today and see if she still has the patterns. Perhaps she would be willing to part with them as her kids are into Bratz dolls now.
