And valentine’s ideas would be great

Well, I’m only 15. I’m no expert with this sort of thing. The 8 year old, well, out of my experience, I just liked to draw on a blank sheet up paper with a pencil.
5 Year old, coloring book.
3 Year old, either coloring or painting, although painting could be dangerous if they decide to eat it, or at least too much of it.
Valentines ideas? Well, I’m not exactly sure. Sorry.
You could try making things like red/white/ and pink lanyards or making valentines day cards with them. Or you could try folding origami, like stars, cranes, etc.
3 shoe boxes
construction paper
sequins
foam hearts
glue scissors
Let them decorate the boxes for their very own valentine box. Cut a long thin hole in the top of the box. Then have each of them make a Valentine card for their sisters and place in their box. You make one for each of them and then tomorrow they can open their box and have their very own valentine.
How about finger-painting? You can get little tubs of paint quite cheap in most supermarkets. Or potato printing? Cut a potato in half, carve a design into the cut side (might be best if you do this bit), dip into saucers of paint and then print. You can get some very nice love-heart effects using this technique. Or sponge-painting, cutting an old synthetic sponge into heart shapes of different sizes.
There are lots of kits you can buy, but I’m trying to think of ideas that won’t cost too much. Coloured feathers are not expensive or coloured pipe-cleaners. Kids love making things with both of these. Hope this helps.
Well, being that tomorrow is Valentines Day have them make cards for their parents. Paper, crayons, markers, scissors, even macaroni noodles… They will have a great time and something that they will be proud to give their parents.
