Baby’s Craft Project – Canvas Size?
I want to make (paint) a clock face onto a canvas using my daughter’s hand-prints instead of numbers, i.e.one month hand-print instead of the number “1″.
If the hand-prints need to go until 12 months, will a 12″ x 12″ canvas be big enough?
(Not sure of babies hand sizes and don’t want to start now at 1 month and run out of space at the end).
Thanks!!
I intend to alternate the hand-prints, one at the end of the canvas and the next towards the middle, etc.
And not necessarily in an circle, must look like kids work!
Loathe to use a bigger canvas as i dont want tiny hand-prints to get lost amongst open space.

I’d think that should be large enough – even a 12month old child’s hands aren’t that big. Its a really neat idea, though I may try that with my children. But just to check yourself, I’d also do a few hand prints on fabric or something on other paper or another canvas in case it doesn’t fit and that way you could cut them out and embellish them on a different canvas or do some other project.
