Can someone please share their thoughts or experiences on this?

The base of the bottle to be cut at a height upto 1.5″ or 2″, this could be used as mould for making wax candle. From the base if the bottle is cut upto 4″ or 6″ height , it could be covered with cloth or paper (either plain or designed) and decorated with small knick knacks /flowers/buttons and be
used as pencil stand or flower vase. The top portion could be cut into simple flower shapes and then coloured with paint, then attached it to a wire covered or coloured green.
the centre curved part could be cut into butterfly shaped, coloured, pass a thread and hang several such butterfly of different colour together

You can make piggy banks out of 2-liter soda bottles. Supplies: bottle, 4 corks, different colored felt (including black), glue, acrylic paint, pipe cleaner. Optional items: beads, plastic “gems,” appliques, sequins

Cut a slit on one side of the bottle for the coin opening (this will become the piggy’s back)

    Glue corks on for feet

    Paint bottle and corks

Curl pipe cleaner around pen or small pill-size bottle then glue to bottom end of bottle

Cut felt into egg shapes & circles to use for eyes, mouth, & ears then glue onto bottle

You can paint your name on it, or flowers – whatever you like, or make fun shapes out of the leftover felt and glue or other items you like. It will hold more money than you think!
