Arts & Crafts for children…need some fun ideas!?

I have an almost 6 year old daughter and she loves arts and crafts but I haven’t had much time to do them with her because I’m far along in pregnancy and it’s hard to get motivated at timse due to a lot of pain. This week I am devoting my afternoons to having some fun with her and trying some new arts & crafts.

So my question is, does anyone have any good, unique ideas? I don’t want to just whip out some paints. I tried looking at our library for ideas but we have a small library and not much choice.

Was there anything your child just loved doing and would like to share with me?! Thank you in advance for any ideas!

You could draw stuff, make a cardboard frame, make quills, decorate a picture with only shapes, draw your most favorite place you want to be, draw a teddy bear, make friendship bracelets, decorate a bookmark, make cards for random things, do oragami but she might be a little young, teach her how to make a very simple paper airplane, or you could just ask her what she wants to make!

    Hope thing helps!!!!
