Arts & Crafts: Directions on how to make a perfect Chain Of Hearts?
Does any one have any directions on how to make a perfect Chain Of Hearts? Every time I try to do it the hearts are apart and not together.

You did not mention if you wanted to make it out of paper and this was the closest I could find with it. There were other sites but as of now I can’t go any further not knowing exactly what you need. Here is the site I found.

After seeing the response from “mommie…” I remembered the chains we did from long ago, hopefully this will jog your memory, I will try to explain the best I can…
* Have a piece of paper the height of your desired heart and the length of your desired chain (you may have to piece a few chains together)
* Accordian fold your paper to the width of 1/2 of your desired heart
* Cut out 1/2 of the heart (similar to what is shown on the website) being sure to leave a portion of the folds attached to both sides (center and outside of heart)
* Open up and enjoy!! this works with any shape, the key is leaving folds attached on both sides….good luck…..susan
