Arts and Crafts with baby socks? Ideas? Making non-matching socks useful?

So, over the past 2 years we’ve accumulated about 20 non-matching baby/toddler socks. Anyone know something useful I could use these for? Or arts and crafts?

   There are various kinds of “sock babies” you can make with individual socks:

   And all kinds of “animals” or puppets:

   (And also things like wrist bands, leg warmers, etc., if the socks are big enough.)
