arts and crafts- help making a castle shape with paper mache?

I made a 4′ x 2′ cage for my bunny, using a wooden frame and “garden wire” siding.

Now I want to design it like a castle. If I make the cylindrical castle shapes out of garden wire, would I be able to paper mache onto that to make a more solid surface? Will the paper mache stick? This would be on the outside of the cage, so he wouldn’t be able to eat it. No worries :)
Mmm… interesting take! Thank you :)

I’d suggest taping a large white poster board around the out side and then paper mache it, that way it sticks, provides better insulation, and your bunny cant stick its teeth through to eat it.
