Arts and crafts for three 5 year olds?
I am watching three 5 year olds for 3 days this week. Anyone have any ideas on any arts and crafts they could do?
I wouldnt mind having some crafts for them that are fall/autumn/ thanksgiving based.

Tons of ideas here:

1. Paper bag puppets. (you know, the kind made out of brown lunch bags.)
2. Construction paper indian headbands and pilgrim hats.
3. Construction paper turkey puppets (cut out shapes, glue them to a popsicle stick and you have a turkey on a stick to play with)
4. Leaf reliefs. Have them find some spiffy leaves, then put them under a sheet of paper, color over with crayons, and you have an imprint of the leaf.
Here are a couple of sites to look at and see if there is something there you can use

Decorate cup cakes, or molded jello, make fruit skewers, individual pudding pies, any type of kids halloween treats that you can find on the internet. That will teach them about cooking.
I started my kids on rubber stamping cards (my son will not admit to it now but he loved it), scrap booking (I made one with a full genealogy and every ones favorite stories), tee shirts or tennis shoes. These will teach them about art and history.
What about teaching them about a musical instrument?
Have them write and act out a play, making costumes and props, having them act it out for everyone later.
This post reminds me of a joke I heard years ago but never got to try. PLEASE POST IF YOU TRY THIS:
Come in acting a little angry and tell them, “When I was your age we had nothing to play with except an eraser, a paper clip, string, a nichol and paper. These kept us entertained for hours!” Put the items on the table, walk out, find a hiding place and watch what they do.
