Arts and Crafts..any ideas?

I’m really into arts and crafts, and I’m fresh out of new ideas, does anyone know a fun craft idea?

ps. I’m a to-be-teacher for elementary kids, so any ideas would be helpful!
I would love crafts that are kid-friendly, and that can be done over a few hours, tops. :)

They can make books, using wallpaper or cloth. My wallpaper curled, so I may have to glue on card stock to it.
Also mosaics. I haven’t done this but it sounds fun.
    Tin punching.
After making the books, they can write a story on the pages, and hand it in to be graded. Or write the story on the pages, and then insert in the cover, in case they want/need to change anything in the story. Return the book later and hopefully they’ll keep it forever.
