Are there any online groups about beaded jewelry?

Does anyone know of any free online groups to find out some of the basics of beading. We live in a small town that does not offer craft stores or classes. I have been to several sites, but, none tell what size string to use with what size bead, and what size crimps to use etc. I have a lot of questions and would like a place to go ask when new ones arise. Thanks for any help you can give.

There are tips in an online catalog – search for “Rings and Things, Spokane”. I’ve also found beading tips at the eHow website.
